Management
As a TSX-V listed company, Iberian's corporate office is in Toronto, home to many global mining companies, the TSX Group and many dedicated professionals and advisors to the industry. Daniel Vanin, President and CEO is based out of the Geneva office, while the rest of the corporate office team are located in Toronto.

Daniel Vanin, President and Chief Executive Officer

Daniel G. Vanin has been the President and CEO of Iberian since June of 2008. Daniel has worked in the mining industry for over 30 years and has strong international mine development and management skills with extensive experience in Canada, South America, Africa and Russia. He is a professional mining engineer and graduated from McGill University, Montreal, in 1975.
Most recently, Daniel was Executive VP and Chief Operating Officer at High River Gold. Prior to that, he was Chief Executive Officer of RBG Resources Plc, in Bolivia, where he managed all operations, project development and construction at the Vinto smelter and Huanuni tin mine. In the early 1990's, Daniel was General Manager of the Doyon and El Indio Mines for Lac Minerals Ltd. Following that, he was responsible for technical and financial evaluation, acquisition and business development of mining projects in South America for Cambior Inc. Later, Daniel was Managing Director of three Peruvian mining operations for Glencore International AG. In this capacity he managed the project development and construction of processing facilities, as well as corporate development activities for Glencore's projects and operations in South America.

Jeffrey Hillis, CA, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Jeff Hillis joined Iberian in June 2009. He has worked in the mining industry for over 5 years in senior finance and reporting positions. He most recently served as CFO of a TSX listed mining company based in Toronto. Jeffrey is a Chartered Accountant (Ontario, 2001). He worked for three years in the audit group of Ernst & Young with major clients in the mining industry.

Kym No, CMA, Controller
Kym No is a CMA, with over 15 years experience in public company reporting with international companies. Prior to joining Iberian, Kym held the Controllership position at Mega Uranium and senior accounting and reporting roles with Fraser Papers, Speedy Muffler King and Celestica.

Laura Sandilands, Investor Relations & Corporate Communications
Laura joined Iberian in April 2009. With experience in corporate transactions, Laura has performed investor relations roles for public and private junior mining companies, with properties in West Africa, Canada and Mexico.

Johny Orihuela Avila, Operations Manager, Condestable Mine
Johny is a Mining Engineer, graduated from Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería in 1990. With a postgraduate degree in Mining Management from Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola. With extensive experience in the mining industry having worked with numerous companies including Perubar, Iscaycruz and Exsa, he has worked as a General Superintendent of Mines at Volcan and General Superintendent at Companía Minera Atacocha. Johny has Operations Manager at Condestable since November 2005.

Robert L. Byrd, General Manager, Aguas Tenidas Mine
Robert L. Byrd joined Iberian in April of 2010, and has over 30 years in the mining industry in both base and precious metals, principally in Latin America. He is a graduate of the Colorado School of Mines, and Boston University.
Most recently, Bob was President and General Manager for Pan American Silver in Bolivia, and oversaw the development and expansion of the San Vicente JV with COMIBOL, including the construction of a modern mill and tailings storage facility, which was inaugurated in early 2009. Prior to that, he held positions with Breakwater Resources Ltd beginning in the early 90’s as General Manager, El Mochito in Honduras, through Vice-President, Latin America overseeing operations in Honduras, Nicaragua and Chile. Prior to joining Breakwater Bob was employed by ASARCO at both the Southwest Mining Department, and the Tennessee Mines Division.
